The Dual Gimbal Connector unlocks the dual downward gimbal configuration on the Matrice 400, so two downward-facing gimbals can be mounted and operated simultaneously. This lets operators pair complementary payloads on a single aircraft to gather more data per flight.

The third gimbal connector supports up to 6 kg payload. When the single downward gimbal, the dual downward gimbal and the third gimbal connector are used simultaneously, the total weight of non-DJI payloads must not exceed 6 kg. DJI advises contacting the payload manufacturer for a test report to ensure safe flight during low-battery conditions.

Which aircraft does this connector work with?
The DJI Matrice 400 Dual Gimbal Connector is for the DJI Matrice 400. Important: accessories for the DJI Matrice 400 and DJI Matrice 350 are not compatible with each other. This part is also distinct from the DJI Matrice 300 Dual Gimbal Connector, which is a different accessory for a different aircraft. Please confirm your airframe before ordering.
