Built to power the hub, not a single battery
The DJI 240W Power Adapter feeds a compatible charging hub through the SDC interface. The dedicated SDC cable is supplied with the charging hub and is required for operation. On its own the adapter does not charge a standalone battery; it works as part of the hub-and-adapter system.
The DJI Matrice 4D Series charging hub cannot charge batteries using other USB-C chargers. The DJI 240W adapter, or a DJI Power series portable power station via its SDC port, is required to power the hub.
Charge modes for the 240W hub
Used with the DJI Matrice 4D Series 240W Charging Hub, the hub offers two official modes. Standard Mode charges each battery to 100% in sequence. Ready-to-Fly Mode charges each battery to 90% and maintains that level for fast deployment.
Via the 240W hub, Standard Mode takes about 40 minutes to fully charge one Matrice 4D Series battery from 15%, and Ready-to-Fly Mode takes about 30 minutes to charge one battery from 15% to 90%. These are DJI test-condition figures; actual time varies with battery and ambient temperature, mains voltage, charging mode and connected devices.

Can the adapter charge a battery on its own?
No. The DJI 240W Power Adapter supplies power to a compatible charging hub through the SDC interface. It must be used with the dedicated SDC cable supplied with the hub, and the batteries are charged in the hub, not directly from the adapter.
Which hubs and power sources work with this adapter?
