DJI Zenmuse H30T Infrared Density Filter

Please CONTACT US if you are interested in this product.

The DJI Infrared Density Filter is an optional accessory for the DJI Zenmuse H30T thermal payload. It fits the H30T infrared thermal camera only and extends the thermal module's temperature measurement range so you can assess temperature variation and rapidly locate high-temperature points during demanding inspections.

Extended thermal range

Extends the thermal imaging module's measurement range to 0 to 1600 degrees C (32 to 2912 degrees F) for more effective assessment of extreme temperatures.

Built for the H30T

Designed for the DJI Zenmuse H30T infrared thermal camera. It is not for the non-thermal Zenmuse H30 and modifies the H30T thermal measurement range only.

Low Gain recommended

After installation there is a reduction in IR signal reception, which also degrades image quality. It is not suitable for observing subjects at normal temperatures and is recommended for use in Low Gain mode.

Reach higher temperature points

With the Infrared Density Filter installed, the H30T thermal module's High Gain range becomes -20 to 450 degrees C (-4 to 842 degrees F), compared with -20 to 150 degrees C (-4 to 302 degrees F) without it. In Low Gain the range extends to 0 to 1600 degrees C (32 to 2912 degrees F), compared with 0 to 600 degrees C (32 to 1112 degrees F) without it.

This makes it a practical option for scenes where subjects can exceed the standard range, letting operators locate and track intense heat sources.

Use it the right way

The filter introduces a reduction in IR signal reception, which also degrades image quality, so it is not suitable for observing subjects at normal temperatures. DJI recommends using it in Low Gain mode.

Important safety context: without the Infrared Density Filter installed, the temperature of the observed subject should not exceed 800 degrees C (1472 degrees F), otherwise the infrared sensor can be burned irreversibly.

Compatibility

The Infrared Density Filter fits the DJI Zenmuse H30T thermal camera module. The H30T itself is supported on the DJI Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 300 RTK (the Matrice 300 RTK requires DJI RC Plus). Firmware of the aircraft and remote controller should be updated to the latest version before use. This filter is not for the non-thermal Zenmuse H30.

Frequently asked questions

Does this filter fit the Zenmuse H30?

No. The Infrared Density Filter is for the DJI Zenmuse H30T infrared thermal camera only. It modifies the H30T thermal measurement range and is not intended for the non-thermal Zenmuse H30.

What temperature range does it provide?

With the filter installed, the High Gain range is -20 to 450 degrees C (-4 to 842 degrees F) and the Low Gain range is 0 to 1600 degrees C (32 to 2912 degrees F). Without the filter these are -20 to 150 degrees C (-4 to 302 degrees F) and 0 to 600 degrees C (32 to 1112 degrees F) respectively.

Why is Low Gain mode recommended?

After installing the Infrared Density Filter there is a reduction in IR signal reception, which also degrades image quality. For that reason it is not suitable for observing subjects at normal temperatures and DJI recommends using it in Low Gain mode. Note that without the filter installed, the observed subject should not exceed 800 degrees C (1472 degrees F) or the infrared sensor can be burned irreversibly.
