The DJI Matrice 400 Gimbal Damper is a replacement vibration damper for the DJI Matrice 400 gimbal mounting system. It isolates the gimbal from airframe vibration so your payload captures clean, stable imagery. Supplied as a set of five, it is a dedicated maintenance part for keeping your Matrice 400 payload mounting in optimal condition.
Payload support
Supports a maximum payload of 1400 g on a single downward gimbal. For dual downward gimbals, each gimbal position supports a payload of up to 950 g.

In the box: Gimbal Damper x 5. Gimbal dampers must be replaced in sets and cannot be mixed with the ones that come with the aircraft.
Matrice 400 only
Designed specifically for the DJI Matrice 400. It is distinct from other Matrice dampers and is not compatible with the Matrice 350.
Keeps your payload steady
Vibration is the enemy of sharp imagery. The DJI Matrice 400 Gimbal Damper mounts between the airframe and the gimbal to absorb vibration before it reaches your payload, helping the gimbal deliver stable footage across the flight envelope.
On a single downward gimbal the damper supports a maximum payload of 1400 g. If the payload exceeds 950 g, the gimbal damper lifespan will decrease from 1000 hours to 400 hours, so matching the payload to the mounting configuration helps preserve service life.
Replace as a complete set
Each pack contains five dampers. DJI advises that gimbal dampers need to be replaced in sets and cannot be mixed with the ones that come with the aircraft. Replacing the full set keeps vibration isolation even and predictable.
The lifespan of the gimbal damper is related to use of the single downward gimbal and the dual downward gimbal connector. Refer to the payload requirements of the corresponding gimbal connector when planning your configuration.

Which aircraft is this damper for?
The DJI Matrice 400 Gimbal Damper is compatible with the DJI Matrice 400. It is distinct from other Matrice dampers, including the Matrice 350 RTK Gimbal Damper, and from the Matrice 400 Gimbal Connectors. Matrice 400 accessories are not compatible with the Matrice 350.
Can I replace just one damper?
No. Gimbal dampers need to be replaced in sets and cannot be mixed with the ones that come with the aircraft. Each pack is supplied as a set of five so you can replace them together.
