The TB100C is a dedicated tethered battery for the DJI Matrice 400. Instead of relying on an onboard charge for a limited flight window, it is supplied with power through the tether to keep the aircraft running for persistent surveillance, security overwatch and extended inspection tasks. The TB100C provides continuous power while tethered.
Note that the DJI Matrice 400 uses a single battery, and the TB100C is purpose-made for this role.
Managed charging and handling
The TB100C is one of the supported batteries of the DJI BS100 Intelligent Battery Station, alongside the TB100 Intelligent Flight Battery and the WB37 battery. Through the BS100, the TB100 and TB100C can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 45 minutes at 220 V in Fast Charging Mode.
The recommended charging temperature range is 5 to 45 C (41 to 113 F). The integrated handle makes transport and station mounting straightforward.
